Realization

A piece of ice in size that corresponds to the ice melted in Arctic Sea ice last year, will be put on a stand, which will be covered with water resistant plexi-glass. The visuals about global warming and its consequences will be projected from above on the ice. Different videos will correspond to the different levels of water. The installation will have 3 levels, and thus, three different video cycles: higher the level of water, more dramatic visualize are displayed and faster editing style is applied.
Sensors sensing the level of water are connected to Arduino that sends commands to a program in OpenFrameworks that is responsible for displaying videos and counting system of melted ice in real time.
In order to accelerate melting process and visualize the danger of melting ice, switched on but without hearer hair dryers will be placed around the table. However, the presence of audience will stop devices from working.

According to average predictions that worn about ice-free Arctic sea in 30 years, on the visuals will be projected remaining ice amount in Arctic Sea.
